This is a true laser device. Laser light is high quality (monochromatic) and extremely well organized (coherent) light. The power density is magnitudes greater that normal light. These properties give laser light two distinct advantages over normal light therapy. First, the laser energy travels deeper into the tissue and second, the therapeutic energy dose is delivered in a fraction of the time needed for normal photon therapy.
- The Power Laser V5 is light weight and easy to use. It is portable, cordless, self contained and measures only 8" by 1" in diameter.
- The unit is turned on, preset and ready to go in a few seconds. A simple slide switch selects the therapy program and a short activation of the pushbutton starts the laser emission. The fixed treatment time of 20 seconds will deliver an energy dose of 10 joules on the continuous wave setting.
- The Power Laser V5 delivers laser energy for at least one hour of continuous use on a single recharge. Typical recharge time is 65 minutes.
